Okay ladies, the years of having shards of plastic glues to your nails and then having lines perfectly painted on them like you were a road are OUT! Who needs to add another 2 hour appointment to their list of things to do before the wedding anyways.

So what’s next in the wedding nail trend? Short and Sassy!

Yup, you heard me. Short, perfectly manicured nails with bold, bright and shiny nail lacquer. Not only is this a way to let our your personality a bit it’s also a great way to add color.

How gorgeous and pretty does this picture look? The pink nails and flower make is so much fun :)

Pink not your color? This season vibrant reds could be just what you are looking for. Red’s are a classic look that you will never regret….on your nails.

Or maybe you are a more classic neutral girl that just likes to keep it clean and simple.

Men’s Wedding Tie : The Eldredge Knot

Who knew you could have fun with ties! Turns out there are a lot of ways to tie a tie and today I want to introduce you to The Eldredge Knot. This is a great wedding tie, and quite frankly I really wish men would put a little more thought into their ties the day of their wedding!

I found this great knot at Thisfellow and then search the internet for instructions on how to do it so that I could share it with you.

This is a pretty complicated knot to do and I found that this video explains it the best and actually makes it look easy. Wedding Lashes

The eyelash shot. This has to be one of my favourite shots. I know that almost every wedding photographer does it and obviously there is a reason why. This shot is the ultimate feminine capture, I find it sexy and mysterious and full of hope.

….like the moment she opens her eyes she will reveal some amazing secret….

We don’t all have amazing lashes, some of us have straight lashes, or hardly any lashes at all. I’m not the biggest fan of the fake eyelashes because they looks, well, fake. Then the other day while having coffee with my new makeup artist friend Kim Tessier I was introduced to mink lashes. Kim’s lashes were amazing and looked so real, but they couldn’t be, could they? I had to ask her. Sure enough, they weren’t but it was hard to tell. They looked so naturally spaced and were so soft (yes, I petted her eyelashes lol) I would recommend them to anyone who need a little eyelash pick me up. I promise to do a follow up post on these eyelashes for wedding lashes as well as a few others.

Bow ties are perfect for any occasion, especially weddings! I don’t think enough credit is given to the bow tie. They can dress your man down or up, create sophistication or add a little whimsical character, great for day to day or a black tie affair and even great for the little critter in your life.

One company I found that I LOVE is Forage, check out the amazing selection of patterns and fabrics they have. These self tie bow ties are just perfection in every way and even the box they come in is cute.

What about for a wedding? Well, they look amazing at weddings. They are timeless and are a great way for men to add a bit of personality to their day. Whether you are a simple classic guy, slightly adventurous or really whimsical there is a bow tie out there for you.
